Furniture Care

We recommend the use of coasters and placemats to protect your furniture.  The furniture has been handcrafted to allow for the normal movement of timber under normal circumstances.  Care should be taken to avoid extreme changes of temperature and to keep furniture out of direct sunlight and away from fires or heaters.  Any water spillages should be wiped down immediately.

Wipe whole surface with a moist clean cloth and then dry.  Buff with a soft dry cloth with the grain. Silicone based cleaners are not recommended. 

Wax lightly twice a year with a thin coat of Antique Wax to the top.  Apply in circular movements and finish off with the grain, then buff with the grain with a soft dry cloth until smooth and streak free.
