Southern Creations is a Christchurch based high quality bespoke handcrafted furniture manufacturing company.

For over 15 years we have been crafting New Zealand made wood furniture such as coffee tables, dining tables, dining chairs, beds, bedsides, hutches, sideboards, dressers, hall tables and TV consoles.

We work with Oak, Rimu, Beech, Mahogany, Pine and Kauri and we can source most other timbers.

Our cabinetmakers specialise in French Polished furniture which has an antiqued finish with multiple layers of Danish oil, shellac and wax.

As well as the distressed look, we produce a new finish which is stained and lacquered to give a more modern style. We offer a full upholstery service on chairs and ottomans.

We deliver to all New Zealand locations and also offer delivery to Australia and the USA.

We offer a full customised bespoke service which allows you to select the style, size and finish of the furniture and we will design the product to suit your requirements.

We often work closely with Architects, Interior Designers and Retailers and produce 3D imagery of custom designs for approval before the furniture is made.

Our woodworkers have recently completed various commercial fit outs in hotels, bars, restaurants and display areas. We also do repairs to existing furniture, whether we made it originally or not.
